10 November - Corunna Lake to Surf Beach Narooma Day Walk - option for Base Camp

Walk Coordinators: Eric Moon and Diane Moon
Meet: 9:45 at Corunna Lake carpark (turn off Princes Hwy. approx. 6km south of Narooma)
Grade: Easy
Distance: 9 km
Description: A one way walk (with a car shuffle at the end) including a fire trail through spotted gum forest, rock platform, grassy coastal tracks and beach walking - mostly at low tide. There is a very short but mildly challenging section around some rocks. If the river mouth is open there will be a shallow crossing to negotiate. A lovely walk with some interesting features. An opportunity for refreshments at Surf Beach Cafe at the end of the walk if it’s still open when we get there.

OPTIONAL EXTRA: BASE CAMP for this weekend:
We will be camping at Surf Beach Holiday Park from 8 November to 11 November: Friday night through to Monday (or possibly Tuesday) Everyone is invited to join us. These are the activities that we’ll be doing which you are also welcome to do with us or just come along and do your own thing.

Friday arrive and set up camp afternoon or evening.
Saturday bike ride; a choice between a challenging but beautiful 45km ride along Wagonga Scenic Drive OR a short, easy and also scenic ride along the bike path to Dalmeny and return.
Saturday night shared BBQ at camp (?)
Sunday BVBW walk - Corunna to Surf Beach.
Sunday nightd inner out (Golf Club?)
Monday Kayaking - a pleasant paddle around Forsters Bay and Wagonga Inlet. Either drive home afterwards or stay Monday night.

Thanks Mark and Marie for the video and photos.  Wish we could have been there.
